Joshua 1:8c
God gave Joshua instructions on how to become spiritually successful and to complete the mission that he had given him. Joshua’s mission was to lead the children of Israel to go in and take possession of the land. God gave him promises that he would be with him wherever he went and that no man would be able to stand against him all of his life. All he had to do was be a strong and courageous leader who meditated on the word of God.
After reading the book of Joshua we see that God gave them the land, Joshua had success in leading them just like God said He would. For us today, we can be successful spiritually as we listen to the Lord, as we follow His instructions and as we have confidence in His promises.
