to be ready for every good work
Titus 3:1b

When we place ourself underneath the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ and remain ready to serve Him divine appointments happen often. In other words when we are open to what the Lord is doing we see Him working and setting things up so that we can be used by Him.

Paul on his missionary journeys saw this time and time again. God used him and he took every opportunity to preach the gospel. In Acts 14:9 "This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed..."
Paul recognized this divine appointment because he was ready for every good work. The result-the man was healed, others saw what happened and they glorified God.

Let us be ready today and be open to God working and we will see divine appointments orchestrated by God and He will glorify Himself.
