But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident
-Galatians 3:11

Paul wrote in Galatians about justification-believers are declared not guilty. This did not happen because of the law but because of what Jesus did for us. Titus 3:7 "that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life." The grace of God came through Jesus Christ and it is through His grace that we are made right with God. Today we can thank God that we do not have to keep the law, that we are not required by law to make a sacrifice to get rid of our guilt and our sins. Instead as we have faith in Jesus we are declared not guilty, we stand before him innocent and set free. What a glorious and wonderful promise and an opportunity for us to rejoice in Him.
