Then the Lord said to Moses, behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you...-Exodus 16:4

God took the children of Israel out of Egypt and slavery, He gave them freedom. Although, free they were in the wilderness, with no place to get food for more than a million people and so the people cried out to God. Their cries were really complaints and doubts against the Lord. God provided for them in spite of their complaints and He rained bread from heaven. This was a true miracle and that bread continued for forty years.

God is still in the business of raining down bread from heaven and taking care of his people. All we have to do is trust him and not complain against him and we will see as the children of Israel did, the glory of the Lord.

Today, Jesus is the bread of life that came down from heaven to give life to those that have faith in him.
